production rehearsals

                                                           Production rehearsals
This week we have been doing production rehearsals. It got pretty boring, because it took so long to get our lines, correct because we were used to being prompted, and this was the first days that we weren't going to get prompted, by Mrs Strathern, and we got so distracted and tired. The dress rehearsal was so much fun though. We had to get our make up done, just a bit of mascara, lip-stick, and eye Shadow, and glitter. Jofie thought he looked awesome doing the Hakka, but he was only dreaming(wink, wink)😜. I think the things that I had to work on was slowing down when I speak, and the expression on my face, otherwise I think I did pretty well.

Ruby redfort

                                   Ruby Redfort

I'm reading Ruby Redfort look into my eyes. It is such a good book so far. When she was eight she won the code cracker contest, and when she was ten she won the code maker contest. it took the scientists three weeks to crack and from that she wanted to be a detective. One day she got three mystery calls when no one talked and just hung up. The third call was too much she just said "Listen buster if your not gonna talk don't bother ringing' That made me laugh out loud. Then she had to crack a code without any information but a little 3 minuet talk. She hasn't cracked it yet but getting closer. . .

native bush walk

   Native bush
Swish swish. The rubbish sitting  there bored as heck. Nothing to do but watch Jofie do Roley Poleys down the hill on the damp ground. "I got, I got, I got, options!" come a voice I didn't recognise. Walking on the sharp stones, nothing to protect my feet from the pain. "Ok, I've got my five things ready!" Olly screeches. I look down and see a lonely piece of bark, like the rubbish waiting for something to happen.

The crab

                                          The crab

There was a crab that scurried across the sand, I picked it up, and it bit my hand, I screamed it beamed, after that we named it nippy, and tried to stuff it in a pippy, after that it turned into a hippy.

what happened if humans disiperead

❔ What happens if humans disappeared?❔

This week we have been learning how things are suited to their natural habitat, and how they respond to environmental changes.
Humans have had a big impact on how animals live their life. But what if  we disappeared. All the power would cut out, and all the electric fences would loose their sting, and the animals would break out desperate for food. They will die and will become food for dogs ,and cats. there for they will be food for the animals that are suited for the wild. All our city roads will become rivers for there is no pumps to keep them dry. It is all the same with subway tunnels they will flood. Other streets will be covered in plants and weeds. but before that most of the modern houses will be wiped out with fire. The zoo animals could break out and create other packs. The other species of animals will repopulate back to the way it was when we weren't here.

#Tapa turtle
This term we have been learning about Tapa and how it was made. The process it has been threw , to be at the stage to used. I learnt that tapa is made out of the mulberry tree inside bark.
I enjoyed doing carving because we used something completely different to carve with. Instead of a chisel and a hammer we just used carvers. And we did printing with ink and our carving.Max had an amazing idea to print them onto a white strip of paper and glue it on the side with our tapa turtles in the middle. They look really cool and we love to show them off.
