My goals for maths this year is to be at level 3P. Right now I'm on 3B.(I think)  I'm gonna push myself, to get there.

Reading this year is going to be a push out of my comfit zone. Right now I'm sitting around 10.5. Pretty good if you ask me. I'd like to be around 11.0.

Writing this year I am on 3B . I'd like to be around  3P. That would be a really good turn out. 

I have really got to push myself if I want to get these goals achieve.

There is going to be so many cool sports coming up,like 
netball,swimming sports and others. I play netball,basketball,and touch rugby. I've always had a love for sport.

My integrity person of the week is Addison. She's always smiling and having a good time with others. She's a great role model, and gives it her all in everything she tries, does and love.

She's an awesome friend. Someone how you can look up to. Someone you can count on as a friend. This girl has amazing integrity in numeric ways. Watch her you will see.  

coming home from leadership day

                                                                               

'Jump in' said Paul (Ella D's dad). We were coming home from leadership day. It was great. We did brain twisters first, and then we went outside, and did four different challenges,then at the end we had to answer questions.  I sat in the back with Summer. I saw the parks.  It was really hot so we turned on the air-con to high. We were near school now. We finally came to a stop. We all jumped out of the hot car. We ran into school grounds. When Mrs Hobbs walked past we said "can we go for a swim in our clothes!!!!!" "Go on then"  she said so we did and it was refreshing.

Trudy was running to a peg,and an ax leaning up against the peg. She didn't notice the snake and got a snake bite,then she had to go to hospital for a few days.

For art this term we had to pick a world issue and research on it. My world issue is tornadoes. We had to make a poster about it. We had to make 4 pieces of art,to put on it.

got talent

                                             

What:last week on Friday(1 July) room 10 preformed at Pirongia schools got talent and did a dance off a Just dance.

Why:Room 10 decided to do this because we thought that we could work as a team and do this together.It tuned out to be an amazing successes.

How?:We practiced all term and finally added the finishing touch and the clothes and it was all ready to show the audience of Pirongia School's got Talent.

This term we have been learning about science-planet Earth and beyond.Have you ever wondered how Mars was made?Well it goes like this.The force of gravity pulled loose bits of things floating around in space.Over the past millions of years it grew bigger and bigger until the gravity stopped pulling and mars never grew bigger again!

I made my model of a card-board box, paint, paper mache, a balloon, newspaper, plain a4 paper, and silver glitter.I enjoyed painting it because we put allot of glitter on it and it went everywhere.I would change that I would be more organised.

I was proud of  doing a 'Just Dance' at our schools Pirongia Schools got talent. I was proud of getting a merit award at assembly. I was proud of completing the mud run. I was proud of doing the 'Tryathilon',and winter sevens.

maths reflection

1.What?

Last week for maths room ten learnt how add 100 and 1000 to a number and subtract 100 and 1000.

2.Why?

I learnt that I need to use this strategy to help me add and subtract from higher numbers that are usually tricky to do.

3.How?

First you get the number say 2,546 now you look at the hundreds space and add 1 and that equals2,646 and thats how you do it.
